Don%26#039;t know if I should buy another printer or is there some other simple solution.|||Try cleaning the electrical (brass) contacts where the black cartridge plugs into the printer with a Q-tip and some alcohol before giving up. This will **usually** solve the problem.
It doesn%26#039;t hurt to do this before any cartridge swap. And - unplug the printer, first (from the wall).
Black usually cruds up quickest because it is the most used....|||Get a new printer. The nozzle or cartridge feed mechanism is probably choked.|||throw the old printer and buy a new one!
sometimes repairs are more costly than buying a new one
