Is the tonner carridge which comes with HP laserjet 1000 a sample cartridge?

I bought a laserjet 1000 printer and got a C7115A black cartridge with it. it was written that the cartridge would print 2500 pages but the one which came with the printer is over by round about 500 pages. one of my friends told me that the tonner which comes with the printer is a sample it wont last long. So i just want to verify this is the tonner cartridge i got with the printer a sample???...|||Usually they last the same than the ones you can buy at the store. The C7115A has less capacity than C7115X.





Also remember that the 2500 page thing usually not accurate, they calculate that when the page is not full. However, that 2500 pages is just a guide based on an average of 5% coverage. This is like a full page of text or email prints.





You will get more or less depending on what you print... so dont really expect to get 2500 pages exactly, esp if you are printing a lot of pictures or if you are printing just little things like letterheads, etc.|||Yes, it%26#039;s what many people consider to be a sample.
