Black is either 32 or 34 and colour is either 33 or 35. HP and Lexmark cartridges include the print head, which makes them expensive. However, this means that, as they contain %26quot;technology%26quot; and aren%26#039;t just containers, they can be patented. This means that no other company can make %26quot;clones%26quot; and that every remanufactured (refilled) cartridge must have been made by Lexmark. Even %26quot;new%26quot; ones may have been remanufactured (refilled) by Lexmark. Get them refilled at Cartridge World or get a refill kit and do it yourself. The trick is to refill before it runs out completely, as using them empty can burn out some of the jets.|||If you are in the UK, you%26#039;d be cheaper to buy a brand new Epson printer (easy and cheaper to buy compatible ink cartridges) probably far cheaper than purchasing the 2 cartridges together!
We were the same, received a %26quot;Free%26quot; printer with our Dell compy, cos we already had 2 printers, I tried to sell the %26quot;Dell printer%26quot; - couldn%26#039;t do that or even give it away free!! However, on saying that, there are some charities that will take discarded printers and recycle them and raise funds!|||I highly recommend you get a printer that uses cheaper ink
(I got a %26#039;free%26#039; Dell printer with my PC = when I saw the cost of ink cartridges I gave the printer to my sister and told her to throw it away when the ink ran out...)|||Most Lexmark cartridges will fit Dell except for a small tab on them that has to be cut off, just compare it to your Dell cartridge. Look on walmart.com or Lexmark%26#039;s website and it will tell you which cartridge is compatable.
