Where can I take my used toner cartridges?

I live in the Oakland Bay Area and I have a bunch of used toner cartridges that need recycling but I don%26#039;t have a clue where to take them. Any suggestions?|||call the company that made them and ask them or call your nearest pc store they will know what to do with them
