What is a good way to store tape backup cartridges?

We use Quantum DLTtape backups at work, and we%26#039;re trying to find some time of shelf or rack to store them on--preferrably something that is wall mounted. I%26#039;ve been searching to try and find something, but it doesn%26#039;t seem to exist. Any suggestions?|||Whatever you do think about why you are doing the backup in the first place.

Is it to have a second copy of the data as you already have another disaster recovery plan in place?

or is it as I suspect, your only backup solution?

a fireproof safe is the only place in your establishment you should keep tapes, and ensure the door is closed and locked each night.

If you want to take them offsite don%26#039;t leave them in the glove box of your car (if it gets stolen so does your whole companies data)

I know they are big for storage but unfortunately if you have a fire onsite they are the first things to melt.

This is what I use for my DLT tapes (holds 10):
