The Sega Saturn wasn%26#039;t backwards comaptible with any other Sega console.
That was a cartridge slot for a memory cart (they came in 1MB to 8MB varieties), cheat devices, carts that allowed you to play imports, or for the system-RAM expansion carts like for King of Fighters.|||Yup, you anwsered your own qestion. It is a regular Genesis game slot.
