Why does an original hp printer ink cartridge cannot be refilled for the 3rd time?

the cartridge could be physically refilled but could not send signals to the pc to print? why is this so?|||so that you will have to buy a new one|||maybe something is dirty where the circuit strip is on the side of the cartridge|||The reason for this is because the ink inside dry%26#039;s up and will make you%26#039;r printout%26#039;s look like basically...****....so...this is the reason why you need to buy a new one. And also it can tell by the bar code...how many times it has been used and it knows ur ink could or is...dried up so it doesnt reprint!|||I think they can, but the mechanism gets so worn out that they just are not reliably filled more than twice. Ive even hard HP cartridges crap out 1/2 way through the second refill.
