How can I force my Epson R800 printer to print when it refuses because of installed generic cartridges?

My Epson has been working fine till now on cartridges that weren%26#039;t Epson brand. I%26#039;ve just put a new one in and my printer has suddenly detected there are a number of %26quot;fake%26quot; Epson cartridges and is refusing to print anything...

Can anyone tell me how to force the printer to print anyway? Not spending 17 times more on %26quot;original%26quot; Epson ink!|||You will need a chip re-setter. They used to sell them In Wilkinsons for about 拢6.99 and you only need to buy it once. I think you can then also refill your cartridges yourself, which saves even more money!

When you command computer to print ,it dose not matter what printer but printer it dose care what cartridge .Now if the cartridge it%26#039;s right and printer is not respond .1- check Communication wires .2- Re- install cartridge and install again . 3- Make sure your printer is ON and light it%26#039;s not blanking .By one ear cleaner and rubbing alcohol clean section that cartridge it%26#039;s connect to own place and make sure when you install the cartridge and close the printer top one time system must work it self (mean cartridge will go back and front automatically .Other wise there must be some thing wrong with cartridge.|||You may have gotten a hold of some of the older compatibles, which may not work with newer Epson models. I have not heard of other issues with the R800 accepting these cartridges. I%26#039;d guess you have a bad cartridge or an older cartridge. I%26#039;d suggest trying a different brand of compatibles.|||Well I%26#039;m not sure if the R800 has the setup buttons on the printer like mine , I%26#039;ve just put 6 Refillables in mine and i had to use the screen thing on the printer to click %26quot; YES%26quot; that i wanted to use none Epson catridges , try going into set up screen |||Consider a continuous ink supply system. It would cost about a much as a set of Epson ink to begin with, but then you just keep filling the tanks.|||try a different cartridge and see what happens. maybe the one you just installed is defective.
