Im out of black ink, but have a brand new colour cartridge..it's still all fuzzy as if its nearly empty help!?

will colour cartridges not print black? i was sure they did and iv an essay to hand in 2mro so i need it to print! what should i do? its a HP printer|||Your HP printer was designed to use the black in cartridge to improve black and white text but also to improve the black colour in pictures/images. If you want the best performance you will have to put a new black cartridge in. In theory colour cartridges can produce black but the result is never as good as a dedicated black cartridge


If you are stuck your local tesco stocks a selection of HP cartridges - either tesco own brand or HP|||Clean the nozzles, go into your printer control and choose the clean nozzle and follow the instructions, hope this helps
